Hello Fellow Archmere Alumni and friends!


It is with pleasure that I join in Archmere's celebration of a wonderful woman, Mrs. Marcy Aitken. Mrs. Aitken pioneered women's sports teams at Archmere and spent years as the physical education teacher. Her straight forward no-nonsense approach as our drug and alcohol counselor and her infamous pep rallies give testament to her passionate character.


In honor of co-education at Archmere, a commemorative celebration and reception will take place this Thursday, April 7th, at 6 o'clock p.m. Archmere will be naming the 1938 gymnasium in Mrs. Aitken's honor. I hope you can join us!
