After Steve King insulted and mocked Parkland shooting survivor, Emma Gonzalez, people from all over the country came out to defend her and other victims of this horrible tragedy. But King, nor his staff, can contain themselves. He doubled down on his insults! Here are some exchanges and what people are saying about yet another abhorrent display by Iowa's 4th District Congressman.

USA Today: " 'Are you SERIOUSLY mocking a school shooting survivor for her ethnic identity?!' wrote Brandon Wolf, a survivor of Orlando's Pulse nightclub shooting in June 2016. 'When it was my community, where were you? When it was Sandy Hook? Columbine?'

'Only a brainwashed Lefty could possibly look at this meme and deduce there's racial prejudice," said King in a post signed "Team King."

Des Moines Register: "In one exchange, for example, a man commented, 'A United States Congressman, quite literally attacking a child in hopes of protecting guns.'

That prompted a response, 'Nah, just pointing out the irony of someone wearing a communist flag while advocating for gun control. — Team King'

Washington Post: "Other images attacking the teenager’s Cuban heritage circulated in conservative circles online.

'Emma Gonzales, wearing the flag of an authoritarian communist nation. Makes sense, they both hate an armed citizenry,” stated one meme shared on Reddit’s conservative page r/TheDonald. It was shared on social media through variations of the theme, including one by conservative commentator Andrew Wilkow."

This is not new to Iowans. King has been trying to divide us for 15 years. This year will be different. Can I count on you to help me unseat Steve King?
