Subject: Fwd: Chat this week?

This was totally unsolicited. I feel very strongly that each of the ten or however many are on the first tier need to be touched by someone in the Biden orbit before the meeting they have with you, Ted. Who knows when the last time these folks had any contact with someone. For Scott, it could be the holiday party. That’s just too long, in my opinion, for someone to go and then the first meeting is a 250k or 500k ask.
If we’re not able to run that initial list past Schrum or Steve to find out when the last VP touch was, I think we ought to figure out a way for someone they know in the orbit to touch them.
Personally, I think the launch of the Beau Foundation this week would be great for some of the people on the first tier - the folks I know at least.
“Just calling to let you know what the Beau Foundation is doing - no money ask, you’ve been helpful already (as is the case for most folks).”
Val could easily do this for a few people. Dennis, many of these folks you know better than anyone.
Think about it. Like I said, I feel very strongly that the first touch these people have in months not be a meeting request and a six figure $ ask.
How would you like me to handle Scott in the mean time?

Hello Josh,

Do you have a moment to connect this week? My schedule is pretty open. If you’re available, let me know what days/times work best for you.

I hope you are well.

Best,
Scott
