Commission Welcomes Comments on Judge’s Reappointment
Judge Rufus G. King III of the D.C. Superior Court is being evaluated for reappointment as a senior judge by the D.C. Commission on Judicial Disabilities and Tenure.

Nominations Sought for 2013 Annual Bar Awards
The D.C. Bar is calling for nominations for exceptional projects and legal contributions by Bar members, which will be recognized at the Celebration of Leadership: The D.C. Bar Awards Dinner and Annual Meeting.

Judge’s Retirement Leaves Open Seat on Superior Court
Judge A. Franklin Burgess Jr. will step down this summer, leaving a vacancy on the D.C. Superior Court. Members can apply for the opening through April 5.

D.C. Courts and the Bar Will Assemble for All-Day Conference
Registration is open for the joint full-day conference, “Redeeming Gideon: Access to Counsel 50 Years Later,” which will be held April 19 and will include seminars, a luncheon, a forum, and a judicial reception.
