SAVE THE DATE FOR THE 2012 GREAT PROSTATE CANCER CHALLENGE(r)(GPCC) 5K/1 MILE FUN WALK JOIN US FOR OUR OTHER UPCOMING FUNDRAISING EVENTS!

Thanks to you, the Great Prostate Cancer Challenge(r) (GPCC) raised over $330,000 in 2011 for prostate cancer research, awareness and screenings. Our hats off to you for making 2011 a success. Your support is truly appreciated! Since its inception, GPCC-Baltimore has collected over $1 million. These funds have provided more than 3,500 free prostate cancer screenings to men in our local communities, supported the American Urological Foundation's CUA Research Scholar Program and have benefited the mission of ZERO-The Project to End Prostate Cancer. We are gearing up for 2012 and wanted to share with you some dates to once again join us in our fight against prostate cancer! Sunday, September 9th, 8:30 a.m. GPCC 5K/1 Mile Fun Walk. Towson University, Johnny Unitas Stadium. The sixth annual event returns to Towson Universit
y with new courses for runners and walkers. Look for team incentives, early bird registration offers and more entertainment on Race Day. Registration, fundraising and volunteer links through a new and easier to manage ActiveWorks website will be available on www.gpccbaltimore.com in April. Sunday, May 20th from 1 to 5 p.m. - Shrimp and Bull Roast to benefit the GPCC. Columbus Gardens, 4301 Klosterman Avenue in Perry Hall. Join us for our inaugural GPCC Bull and Shrimp Roast. The afternoon promises to be a bunch of fun while raising funds for prostate cancer. Your ticket includes beer and wine, a hot and cold buffet, steamed shrimp, pit beef and ham, gaming wheels, silent auction and a DJ for dancing and entertainment. Tickets are $35 each. Monday, October 8th, 10:30 a.m. to 7 p.m., GPCC Baltimore Golf Classic.
Towson Golf and Country Club. The LPGA Players return to Baltimore for a great day of golf, dining and camaraderie. Each foursome plays with a LPGA Pro in a scramble format. Registration includes brunch, tee gift, a round of golf with on-course refreshments, dinner with open bar and prizes.
