Led by Ambassador Tony Hall, the Alliance is a non=rofit organization that brings together diverse stakeholders dedicated to =uilding the political and public will to end hunger in the United States a=d around the world. <i>Farmers Feeding the World</i> will join the more th=n 80 domestic and international NGOs, corporations, religious organization=, universities, healthcare providers, advocacy groups and individuals who =ake up the Alliance, in an effort to end hunger through education and advoy.</p><p>The <i>Farmers Feeding the World</i> campaign is rallying the a=riculture community to fight hunger directly and to educate consumers and =olicy leaders about the importance of modern agriculture in the context of=national and global food security challenges. Membership in the Alliance t= End Hunger will magnify the campaign's education and advocacy efforts thr=ugh increased direct engagement with key influencers and lawmakers positio to address hunger issues. <i>Farmers Feeding the World</i>'s Washington= D.C., office will continue to advocate on behalf of modern agriculture's =apacity to end hunger through complementary activities such as face-to-fac= meetings with food and agriculture policy leaders and supporting live edu=ational events such as the Farm Journal Forum and the Meet the Freshman Ro=ndtable.</p><p>"Through its membership in the Alliance to End Hunger,=<i>Farmers Feeding the World</i> is looking forward to expanding its prese in the ongoing policy debate about food security," said Charlene F=nck, President of the Farm Journal Foundation.
