Dear R.Hunter,

They'll stop at nothing.

It seems like every week the GOP leadership in Congress looks
for something else to derail the progress we're making. They've
battled against women's health and put attacks on health care
reform and the environment ahead of getting our economy
moving again.

My colleagues and I are working in the Senate to break through
these obstructions and fight for progress, but I need your help.

There are less than 225 days until the 2012 election and our team
is busy planning efforts to support candidates who will be able to
join me in Washington in standing up against the GOP's radical
agenda.

In three days we'll be filing our quarterly report and your continued
support is critical. This time it's not about how much we raise, but
about how many people are standing strong with us.

Since my election to the Senate, I've set out to bring a strong,
progressive and pragmatic voice to Washington. I came eager to
work with both sides of the aisle to make a difference and develop
with solutions to the challenges our country still faces.

Unfortunately I've come to learn the substantial power that the
Tea Party and some GOP leaders have, holding our country and its
future back, all for cheap political games and partisan brinkmanship.

I'm committed to fighting in the Sentate for those whose voices seem
drowned-out amid the partisan bickering in Washington. I've introduced
several measures to help innovative business grow and create jobs for
middle class families in Delaware and across the nation. I've been
proud to stand up for women's health in our work to re-authorize the
Violence Against Women Act.

Too many of my colleagues want to stand in the way of progress.

Though I'm not on the ballot this year, it's absolutely important that we
showcase extensive grassroots support each and every quarter.
We need to make sure the other party knows the American people are
interested in solutions - not political games.
