I totally understand, and thank you so much for your response. If you
decide writing would take too long, please feel free to call anyway. I
apologize in advance for the sensitive nature of some of these questions,
but I must ask them as they pertain to my piece.

1. I was hoping you could tell me a bit about Beau (and your) decisions to
join the service.
2. Are there any poignant discussions you had with Beau (or others had with
him) prior to his deployment that you'd be able to share?
3. Did you ever discuss Camp Victory or Balad with Beau? If so, what did he
say? Did he make any mention of how waste was disposed of?
4. When Beau returned, was he short of breath or experiencing any kind of
breathing issues? If so, did he receive treatment through the VA?
5. Have you heard stories similar to Beau's--of service members stationed
at these bases getting brain and other types of cancers?
6. Have you ever considered that Beau's illness was linked to his service?
Or have you had different hypotheses?
