Subject: More on Beau

Chris and Emily, The Biden family approved the announcement for our website and to send to media outlets in PA and Delaware. You can see it on our website here: https://www.sas.upenn.edu/news/scholarship-honoring-beau-biden-will-benefit-students-penn This will be a searchable link (it needs to be up for 24 hours before the search function will work) so it will be much easier for anyone who wants to make a contribution.

One thing to note: They amended the name of the scholarship to include "Beau," which we thought was a great idea.

Our final count for the reception was 240 people and our current fundraising total is between $500,530-$600,530, depending on where that big gift settles (and it looks like it WILL be $250,000). This is phenomenal!!

We are working on a full update for the team, which we will send to you too, with some other information but I wanted to get these highlights to you today.

Thanks to you both for everything you did to make this happen. We're all on cloud 9! What a great night - and a great outcome!

xoxo

JM
