Dear Ninth Grade Parents, In response to inquiries about the Black Student Union Show tomorrow, we want to provide you with more details. The BSU Show is a wonderful chance to see a student created production at SFS, and we hope many people will go! *BSU ANNUAL BLACK HISTORY MONTH PERFORMANCE* *The Black Student Union *presents its *Annual Black History Month Performance* in the *Arts Center Theater* on *Friday, February 12**,* at* 7:00 p.m.* A tradition that began in the 1980s, the program incorporates original student content with songs, poems, and other material from established authors. The cast is composed of students from the Lower, Middle, and Upper schools. The entire Sidwell Friends community is invited to come out to see the show. Parents with younger children should be advised that some of the content in this powerful performance is written to reflect current events and the program, in its entirety, may not be appropriate for younger students. With questions, contact Nicole Lang, washpeds@verizon.net, or Georgine Newman at gnalawode@gmail.com Your Grade Rep
