Last week I watched the news with great empathy as the details of your stroke were released. I was immediately reminded of the December evening you spent at our family home in Shenandoah, Iowa celebrating my mother’s 90th birthday.


I myself suffered from a massive stroke on July 7th. Even though I received excellent emergency care there wasn’t anything the hospital or the doctors who were treating me could do for the residual damage left by the stroke. However, I had learned about Hyberbaric Oxygen therapy through research that has been conducted to treat wounded warriors suffering from traumatic brain injury as well as football players (you may remember that my husband, Sam Brunelli, is an old Denver Bronco).


After I was released from the hospital and my doctors deemed it safe and appropriate, I started the Hyberbaric treatments immediately. That Labor Day Weekend was our huge Annual Conference and thanks to the Hyperbaric treatments I was doing, much of the residual damage left by the stroke was cleared and I was able to travel to New Mexico and host NFWL’s Conference, lest than 2 months after a major stroke.


I am happy to speak with you or anyone who you trust directly, regarding my experience with this treatment and how it has helped my recovery any time. I can also help you arrange to have a portable Hyperbaric Chamber delivered to your home so you may conduct these treatments in privacy, no one needs to know, your privacy can easily be respected that way.


I know that your stroke was minimal and mine was more severe, however whichever is the case, my understanding is that there is always at least some small residual damage left by a stroke. My and my husband’s relationship with your father over the years and thinking back to the time you spent in Shenandoah, Iowa during campaign season, just made my heart drop when I heard of your news and I wanted to share this treatment information with you as best I could.
