Saturday Festival, Sunday Race RUN CLARENDON! What better way to celebrate Clarendon than a run down its most storied boulevard? Join us for the 9th annual Clarendon Day 10K/5K & Kids Dash, running this year on Sunday, following the Saturday Clarendon Day Street Festival. Easily one of the area’s fastest courses, this race takes runners along a foot tour of the eclectic neighborhoods of Arlington, Va. Runners can choose to race the 5K, 10K, or both! The popular Double is a great option for people wanting an additional challenge. Medals for all finishers and a special Doubles medal for the first 500 to register! Plus, we provide a Kids Dash so your little ones can also get involved too! The Kids Dash benefits No Kid Hungry, which helps children struggling with hunger to get nutritious food! You can choose to add a donation to No Kid Hungry during registration. This year, the Clarendon Day Festival is on Saturday and the Clarendon Day Run is on Sunday so driving to a parking garage will not be as challenging as in past years. Nonetheless, with the streets marked for the race, public transportation may be a better option depending on where you are coming from. Metro opens at 7:00 a.m. on Sundays, which may be too late for the 5k start at 8:00 a.m. To be sure to arrive in time for the race, please refer to the map and other information on our event day page for more transportation details. MORE INFO The Clarendon Day Race runs on Sunday, after the Clarendon Day Festival, but don't think the weekend celebration ends after you reach the finish line. This year, once again, Whitlow's on Wilson serves as the post-run party headquarters.
