During her illness, Shira completed two 100-mile rides in Tucson, AZ and Lake Tahoe, CA with Team in Training (TNT). She was an inspiration to her family and friends, the greater TNT family, and many others worldwide. Shira is survived by her husband and children, father, brothers Shaun, Avi and Lev, and many in-laws and cousins. Shira fought a long, hard and brave battle and will be lovingly remembered. Graveside services will be held at Gan Shalom Cemetery, 1100 Bear Creek Road, Briones, CA at 10:00 AM, Friday May 21, 2010.
