George,

I am comfortable talking to you and would be happy not to involve my lawyer as that cost will be added to Hunter’s responsibilities per our divorce agreement. If you need a copy of that agreement, I can send it along.

Pressing right now is that Hunter pay January’s alimony, email his accountant to release his tax returns and explain the status of the tax lien that is on the lake house. The $112,805 tax lien is from 2015 taxes. I’ve already emailed with the accountant and he said he only needs an email from Hunter to release his taxes to me.

Once these three things are taken care of, we can discuss other issues.

I do not want to take Hunter to court but if I do not get these things handled quickly, I will have no choice. I have been trying to reach Hunter and he has been abusive and non-responsive.

I am unable to support myself and Maisy right now and depend on my alimony. I cannot have it coming late. If there is an issue with Hunter’s ability to pay it, he should have contacted me long ago. I have a mortgage and HELOC on the lake house, rent for our home in DC and living expenses. I will have to make drastic changes like sell the lake house, find a new place to live in DC and find a higher paying job. These are not insignificant. I need to have answers now.
