Good morning Robert,

I just arrived in Richmond to start the 2018 General Assembly session.

We have our work cut out for us, and with all of the new members on our team, I am optimistic that we will make progress this year on issues we all care about- a budget that reflects our values, education, health care, and economy that works for everyone. I will be carrying bills on a variety of subjects including Whole Women's Health to repeal the medically unnecessary provisions mandated over the past decade on a woman's right to choose, in-state tuition and expansion of driver's licenses to help bring more people access to jobs and opportunities for education, equal pay, as well as a group of bills to expand broadband service throughout the Commonwealth.

I've taken on a heavy legislative package, but it will be worth it because we have a lot of work to do and I don't want to waste any opportunities after we've all made such huge efforts this past year.
