Dear Members of the Truman Boards,

I hope 2018 is off to a wonderful start!

As mentioned in last month's board meeting, I wanted to share some
information for our upcoming Chapter and Expert Group Leader's retreat. The
gathering will take place in Austin, TX on February 3rd and 4th, and we are
thrilled to have
​30​
leaders from the community joining us for what we hope will be a very
productive weekend. I have attached the itinerary, which includes
information about the hotel and retreat location.

want to be sure to mention that this retreat is possible thanks in part to
a generous grant from the Open Society Foundations.

We will be sending participants advance materials
​ next week​
to prepare for the discussions in Austin, and I would be happy to send
those to you as well. I apologize for the short notice, however if you
would like to attend all or a portion of the retreat, we are happy to work
with you on the logistics. We will also plan to send this group a readout
of the retreat with next steps once we return to DC.
