EMAIL DETAILS

Friends,

For those of you who've been receiving this email for close to 20 years, we
can save some time and just give this link
<http://mackler5k.kintera.org/faf/donorReg/donorPledge.asp?ievent=1165041&lis=1&kntae1165041=E3E0CF36489E495B82E5D529C760BF13&supId=392068470>
where your generosity has provided ALS patients critical communication
technology for 17 years. The run/walk is in November; you can register
and/or donate there. We look forward to seeing those of you who can
come--kids, strollers, etc. are encouraged. (Special bonus for clicking the
link: picture of dad's grandkids.)

For the new folks uninitiated to dad's story: in 1999 we started this
charity in his name, and for 16 years he watched people struggle across the
finish line at the 5K he designed. If you want to learn more about dad, you
can watch this 60 Minutes piece
<http://www.cbsnews.com/news/the-passing-of-pioneering-brain-scientist/> or
read this article
<http://news.pennmedicine.org/inside/2014/02/a-hero-to-everyone-but-himself.html>.
If you've never been to the 5K, we always like seeing new participants
(warning: it's challenging for the runners).

As the years pile up, so our appreciation grows.
