Fatemi October 13, 2016 Those in the world concerned about Donald Trump, the Republican nominee for President embarrassing the United States, should think back to Vladimir Lenin's statement as to what constitutes "a useful idiot." By questioning, criticizing and belittling America's rule of law, the bedrock of America's democracy, and the great institutions that promote that democracy that have served the United States for over 200 years, he is doing exactly what Vladimir Putin would want, weaken America from within. America's might and reach is unquestioned. But if someone like Trump, a misogynist, racist, and enabler of haters, comes along and casts doubts about institutions of the United States, plants seeds of discord, takes advantage of legitimate concerns, tries to put neighbor against neighbor, then this is how a "Fifth Columnist" would destroy America from within. That is why it is critical for every US citizen to vote and overwhelmingly repudiate him and his enablers and show the world that the United States will not be manipulated by a "useful idiot."
