The facts are growing clearer each day: The U.S. intelligence community believes with high confidence that there was an intentional effort to interfere with our democracy, and it came from the highest levels of the Russian government.

Our president-elect's reaction is, to say the least, concerning. Instead of confronting this threat to our democracy, Donald Trump is choosing to skip the majority of his daily briefings and attack our intelligence agencies.

As an American, I believe this interference goes right to the heart of our democracy. If we allow this to go unchallenged, we're letting down our country.

That is why I'm pushing to make sure this attack on our democracy is treated seriously. Watch my interview on MSNBC about the dire need to respond to Russian interference.
