I did not want to end the year without taking a moment to send you my very
best wishes – to you and yours – for 2017…


As for me, I am still splitting my time between academia and private
practice – teaching international law and human rights at Georgetown
University and leading the international practice of a boutique law and
strategy consulting firm in Washington – along with various board,
non-profit and *pro bono* efforts. I am happy to say that some of my *pro
bono* work has now led to my working as a producer in Los Angeles, focused
on social impact television.
