This March, Steppenwolf for Young Adults will travel their original production How Long Will I Cry?: Voices of Youth Violence on a week-long tour to Chicago Public Library branches. Woven together from interviews of those directly affected by the problem of youth violence, How Long Will I Cry? provides raw, truthful insight and inspires all of us to join together in search of a solution.

Since performances of the show at library branches are entirely FREE, we need your help to raise $20,000 to fund this important and exciting project.

Gifts of all amounts help us. For example, $25 will help print study guides for school and community groups that see the production. Gifts of $150 will sponsor a free post-show workshop for audience members to respond to the play in their own words. And $1,200 covers all direct production expenses for one library performance.
