Dear Parents/Guardians,

I wanted to send this update out regarding the PGA Jr. League Golf
program. First off, if you haven't heard yet this past week our PGA Jr.
League Golf team earned an impressive opening match win against Woodmont
this past Saturday! With a few first time participants and a few new
members joining the team, I was pleased to see the fun and chemistry
shared between all the kids (and parents)!

As the program continues to gain momentum and the season has begun to hit
full stride for many of the clubs, I wanted to make you all aware that TPC
Potomac's official PGA Jr. League website is updated and will be the
foremost authority for match schedules and results, as well as roster and
contact information. I ask that you still make your child's availability
know to both myself and fellow assistant golf professional, Kevin Dean
(KDean@pgatourtpc.com). For those of you who haven't had a chance to meet
him, Kevin brings to the table a vast experience working with local junior
golfers and the PGA Jr. League program. He and I will take on the task of
compiling rosters, as well as sending out weekly communications from here
on out. The website is a great tool to track and plan your child's
participation in this program... IT IS ALSO THE ONLY WAY YOU CAN
OFFICIALLY REGISTER AND JOIN OUR TEAM! (see the steps below).

1. Click on the link (or copy and paste in your browser's search bar)
http://www.pgajrleaguegolf.com/find/team/
2. In the "Find Team" search bar, type in "TEAM POTOMAC"
3. At the bottom of the next screen, you should see Team Potomac show up
with myself listed as the captain. Click "VIEW"
4. WELCOME TO THE TEAM PAGE! Here is where you will see detailed schedule
information as well as roster information. For those of you who signed up
and participated last year, you will already see your child listed on the
team. If you have no yet signed your child up, please click on the "JOIN
THIS TEAM" tab located at the top right of the page.

**If you have any trouble with these steps, please email me and I will be
happy to assist or contact the league office if need be!

In checking the website, you will see from time to time that we will post
updated information (ie: regarding schedule changes, the addition of
matches, playoff schedules, etc) and the first bit of information to take
note of has to do with this coming weekend. We will still be hosting our
match against Bethesda C.C. this coming Saturday at 4:30! However, based
on feedback from parents from both clubs, our match against Congressional
C.C. has been moved to TUESDAY, JUNE 17th (also at 4:30)! I apologize for
the last minute change and I hope this is the last curve ball we face this
season. It is the priority of myself, Kevin Dean, as well as the rest of
the professional staff to ensure that this program grows and is as
successful as possible!

Please feel free to email myself or Kevin Dean if you have any questions
or if there is anything else we can do! I look forward to seeing you and
your junior around the club soon!

Best regards,

C.J. D'Arco
