** Hello Friends,

I think it is now safe to say "Happy Spring!"

Mother Nature's slow procession into warm weather was no reflection of the Real Estate market in our area, that's for sure. We think Busy is the new Black! BFPSIR brokered many significant sales over the long winter, and we expect an upward trend of activity and sales to continue. We are very excited for the new crop of extraordinary inventory in our pipeline, and are getting calls every day from clients who are thinking, looking, and deciding to make a move. Value is still on all our buyers' priority lists, and sellers are understanding where they need to be to move their homes; with reasonable expectations on both sides of the street, we expect this market to keep humming along through spring and into summer.

We are especially excited for our early summer relocation to a newly renovated office space at the corner of Center Meeting Road and Kennett Pike. Stay tuned for more updates and invites from that location!

Originally from Baltimore, Lisa moved to Chestertown in 1982, where she and her husband Phil, an attorney, raised their two sons. ** Winterthur's Costumes of Downton Abbey

Costumes of Downton Abbey is an original exhibition of exquisite designs from the award-winning television series. Approximately 35 historically accurate costumes from the television show will be displayed with photographs and vignettes inspired by the fictional program and by real life at Winterthur. Visitors will have a chance to step into and experience the world of Downton Abbey® and the contrasting world of Winterthur founder Henry Francis du Pont and his contemporaries in the first half of the 20th century. Timed tickets for the exhibit are required.
