TEAM PA members, Many of you are aware that our collaborative web site "p-a-Net" is not compatible with several new web browsers. We have found a "temporary work around" but an upgrade to the system is still needed as regulations now require CAC card/PKI log-in, (this procedure is now mandatory.) The "p-a-Net" system now resides on a server that could shut down without notice. We are evaluating whether to continue using the current EMC/Documentum system or to move all folders/files to a completely new collaboration tool system. We are evaluating several options to see which best meets our community's needs. We are asking all Commands and individuals who have an account to scrub all uploaded materials, folders & files on the current system by 30 June 2014. This means reviewing all files for content accuracy, removal of any obsolete files, and archiving all current files to a CD or another back-up system. All commands are responsible for the folders/files of their command. If system does shutdown, we may not be able to retrieve the files in a timely manner. To access p-a-Net , log in with your User Name and password. If your password has expired or you have forgotten it, you will need to verify/update your Navy Public Affairs Directory entry first before it is reset. If there are folders or files on system that you need removed and if they were placed there by folks no longer at your command - send the URL of the file along with name of who should have access to Ms. Kettenhofen to switch permission over to new person in command or to delete. Contact Ms. Suzette Kettenhofen, suzette.kettenhofen@navy.mil, for the PA directory form and p-a-Net password reset.
