Dear Parents;
Families of 6th grade students are invited to the Sixth Grade Expo on Friday, May 31 at 4:00 to 5:30p.m. The event, a culmination of the work of all students from all their classes, is meant to celebrate the accomplishments and knowledge of our sixth graders.
Families and students will enjoy an exhibition of the students’ work on the second floor of the Middle School. There will be appetizers and drinks provided by the families. In the past, the Grade Reps have asked each family to contribute appetizers, finger foods, or drinks.
Your child is asked to remain after school that day to help prepare for the exhibition. Please stay tuned for follow-up information and requests for volunteers from the Grade Reps.

Sixth Grade EXPO, showcase for the exhibition of sixth grade work
WHERE
The event will begin in the Robert L. Smith Meeting Room at 4:00pm.
At 4:30pm the event will move to the Second Floor, Middle School, where students will display and show their work.
Around 5:00ish everyone will be invited to share light food, and drinks in the Middle School Lobby, First Floor.
WHEN

WHY
To celebrate the accomplishments and knowledge of our sixth graders with a public display of works
HOW
· Students will stay after school on Friday to set-up (3:20 to 4:00pm)
· Students and families will provide snacks, appetizers, and beverages
· Families (adult volunteers) will set-up refreshment tables (3:00 to 4:00pm)
· Families (adult volunteers) will clean-up refreshment tables (5:30 to 6:00pm)
