Congratulations to you and the Vipers for a great victory and a great season!

It's been a fun ride these past few years - and a joy to see the girls come together as a team, grow as players and individuals, and learn to be magnanimous in victory & graceful in defeat.
Now, if only some of the parents could learn to be more restrained - especially when the refs call them out publicly!

Subject: upcoming Basketball for the Division Champs!


Dear Parents of Vipers,
Congratulations to the girls for playing hard and winning a rough game
today. It was tough, but the girls got it done! They are now division champs
and will receive trophies from the league.

I also registered a complaint with the league director about the intentional
roughness by WES, and it will come as no surprise that I am not the only
coach that has called. If we happen to meet them again in the tournament, I
now know there is a "flagrant foul" violation that can be called and that
player will be removed from the game. She will put WES on notice.

I'm confirming the scrimmage and end of season celebration for Sunday, March
2nd, starting at 9am. We will then have the party in the room off the gym
afterwards.

Please confirm your daughter's participation in the tournament for Saturday
March 9th and 10th, where we will defend our league title from last year.
First game will be played at 9am ­ I will have other details about the times
of the other games soon.

Looking forward to seeing the girls on Thursday.
