This small, off-the-record dinner will bring together national security and foreign policy thought leaders, along with key representatives from the USGLC's business and NGO communities, for a conversation on the importance of America's engagement throughout the world. The conversation will focus on the intersection between America's smart power tools of development, trade and diplomacy and economic growth both here and abroad.


A key member of the Obama Administration and a trusted Advisor to the President, Mr. Froman is responsible for coordinating policy on international trade, investment, energy, climate and development issues. A former Citicorp executive, Mr. Froman has the unusual dual role of international finance adviser for both the National Economic Council and the National Security Council. The dinner provides a timely opportunity for our community to discuss the Obama Administration's development agenda for the second term.
