This Thanksgiving, as I reflect on my eight years as Governor of Maryland, I am grateful for the opportunity and honor of serving our state.

I'm thankful, too, for your support during my time in office--for inspiring me and making me strive to do better as a public servant.

Finally, I'm thankful for all those who serve our communities - from our teachers to our police officers, first responders and service members, from the innovators and entrepreneurs who are growing our economy to the hard-working individuals that have come to our country from other places.

You each remind me that we all have a responsibility to advance the common good, to uplift the dignity of each individual, and to understand that we are all in this together.
