Priebus hinted that he was likely to run at a post-election breakfast with reporters last month but said he'd make the official decision closer to the holidays. After a banner year for Republican candidates, no opponent to Priebus' continued leadership has surfaced. A full third term would tie Priebus for the longest run atop the RNC in the modern era. Vogel and Darren Samuelsohn report: "The Republican Party's top operatives - including strategists representing the Koch brothers' political operation and several leading prospective 2016 presidential candidates - on Monday huddled behind closed doors to discuss how to synchronize their sometimes competing tech efforts, multiple attendees confirmed to POLITICO. The all-day meeting attracted about 40 of the right's biggest names in tech and strategy - including Koch operatives Michael Palmer and Marc Short, leading strategists from many of the major super PACs and all of the party committees, as well as close allies of Jeb Bush, Ted Cruz, Rick Perry and Scott Walker." http://go.politicoemail.com/?qs=7b399c9b417d4c0d54004fe7d0d6c05e2b44bde83bae33ca94abb585cd0ea263 http://go.politicoemail.com/?qs=7b399c9b417d4c0d54004fe7d0d6c05e2b44bde83bae33ca94abb585cd0ea263 While Big Labor puts Hillary in a bind and a McCain antagonist gets the boot, here's POLITICO's Morning Score: daily news, notes and essential information for the 2015 and 2016 election cycle. REMATCH -- Democrat Elizabeth Jensen says she's preparing to challenge Republican Andy Barr in 2016, a second attempt to take down the incumbent despite losing by 20 points and getting outspent three-to-one, the Lexington Herald-Leader reports. Jensen told the paper that the bulk of her candidacy was spent in a private room dialing for dollars, rather than meeting voters and retail politicking. http://go.politicoemail.com/?qs=7b399c9b417d4c0dd39a505c3d61700bb317d412d555baad16737c53ca4a95f1 http://go.politicoemail.com/?qs=7b399c9b417d4c0dd39a505c3d61700bb317d412d555baad16737c53ca4a95f1 -- "What's next for Michelle Nunn," by Roll Call's Kyle Trygstad: "Michelle Nunn strolled through the Capitol basement last week alongside outgoing Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee Chairman Michael Bennet - just a month after her loss in the Georgia Senate race ... Her overall performance was strong enough keep her at the top of the list of potential candidates for any statewide race in Georgia in the next few years, according to multiple Democrats in the state ... Her next campaign, at this point, isn't likely to come in 2016, with the well-liked Isakson having http://go.politicoemail.com/?qs=7b399c9b417d4c0d92408f9398ef5e5fcd6c6382cd4e6fe4fc5377641f642b77 already announced he intends to seek re-election." http://go.politicoemail.com/?qs=7b399c9b417d4c0d4d76d6c24f16a6791e55d61e9a80f2ccadd2fde430387fc9 http://go.politicoemail.com/?qs=7b399c9b417d4c0d4d76d6c24f16a6791e55d61e9a80f2ccadd2fde430387fc9 TODAY ON POLITICO - "Big Labor holding out on Clinton endorsement," by POLITICO'sMaggie Haberman and Mike Elk: "Frustrated by President Barack Obama and wary of Hillary Clinton's perceived closeness to Wall Street, several leading figures in organized labor are resisting falling in line early behind the former secretary of state as the inevitable Democratic presidential nominee. Top officials at AFL-CIO are pressing its affiliates to hold off on an endorsement ... it could provide an opening for a candidate running to Clinton's left to make a play for union support ... Some unions are giving O'Malley and Sanders a look. Since the beginning of September, labor interests, primarily construction unions, have given $122,000 to a pro-O'Malley political action committee." http://go.politicoemail.com/?qs=7b399c9b417d4c0d1fc195c15dece0c68846c1900b9dc4a2c1e6616a875947a1 http://go.politicoemail.com/?qs=7b399c9b417d4c0d1fc195c15dece0c68846c1900b9dc4a2c1e6616a875947a1 COURTROOM WATCH - "Grimm keeps defense team, despite conflicts," by Capital New York's Colby Hamilton: "At a hearing in Brooklyn federal court on Monday, Rep. Michael Grimm of Staten Island waived his right to conflict-free counsel, after being advised by Judge Pamela Chen that two members of his legal team could pose a potential conflict of interest ... Grimm, who is facing a 20-count indictment on charges that include tax fraud and perjury, hired Stuart Kaplan as an attorney in November. Kaplan also represented Diana Durand, who has been described as an ex-girlfriend of Grimm's, when she pleaded guilty in September to a straw-donor scheme that included donations to Grimm's campaign." http://go.politicoemail.com/?qs=7b399c9b417d4c0d905f6dbbddc676660ea7cfb1ee75ada5f2d22141d96b7072 http://go.politicoemail.com/?qs=7b399c9b417d4c0d905f6dbbddc676660ea7cfb1ee75ada5f2d22141d96b7072 CHANGING PLAYERS - "McCain censure resolution author ousted from GOP post," by Arizona Republic's Dan Nowicki:"Timothy Schwartz, who became the toast of Arizona's far right this year after http://go.politicoemail.com/?qs=7b399c9b417d4c0d55516248cbea842917ff56538ea04d80f1d7418e3a39456b authoring Maricopa County and state Republican Party resolutions censuring Sen. John McCain as too liberal, on Saturday was ousted from his post as Legislative District 30 GOP chairman. The incumbent Schwartz lost the job to challenger Gary Hirsch on a 26-12 vote ... Hirsch generally credited his victory to dissatisfaction with Schwartz's leadership, but said the McCain censure was part of it ... Pinal County Sheriff Paul Babeu's consultant, Mike Noble, told the Arizona Republican that the PAC is intended to support candidates who support securing the border, and they'll play off the sheriff's national presence - he's a Fox News regular - to help generate cash. Babeu mounted an ill-fated congressional campaign in AZ-04 in 2012 - an effort that was derailed by an immigration scandal involving a man with whom he'd been romantically involved (Babeu was later cleared). Dennis Daugaard http://go.politicoemail.com/?qs=7b399c9b417d4c0defd5e785a2f38c7d8e288f3300983a8fbb8e3a7acff8d68e told The Associated Press Monday that his state ripped Chicago's business climate in a full-page Sunday Chicago Tribune ad, in part because of the city's initial resistance to a South Dakota ad campaign in O'Hare International Airport. It's the latest salvo in an increasingly tense feud between Daugaard and Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel, who's in the thick of a reelection campaign. 'We make doing business easy in South Dakota. From our experience, Chicago does not,' Daugaard told the AP. South Dakota initially issued provocative messages needling the Chicago business climate in paid ads set to run in O'Hare. When the state was asked to change the tenor of the ads, South Dakota complied but also went with the Tribune strategy, the AP reports. The Tribune ad begins with the sentence, 'This is the ad Rahm Emanuel doesn't want you to see.' http://go.politicoemail.com/?qs=7b399c9b417d4c0defd5e785a2f38c7d8e288f3300983a8fbb8e3a7acff8d68e http://go.politicoemail.com/?qs=7b399c9b417d4c0defd5e785a2f38c7d8e288f3300983a8fbb8e3a7acff8d68e CODA - QUOTE OF THE DAY: 'The next 24 months are going to be rough.
