Today is Giving Tuesday, a national day of giving back that continues the spirit of Thanksgiving and kicks off the holiday season on the right note.

This year, the Edward M. Kennedy Institute for the United States Senate is joining the Giving Tuesday movement. Please join us by making a fully tax-deductible gift to the Institute.

Supporters like you will help ensure the Institute is able to offer our one-of-a-kind Senate Immersion Module (SIM), an immersive experience where participants inhabit the roles of United States Senators past and present, to school groups free of charge when we open our doors to the public in March. Using digital tablets to engage in participatory games and role-play, the SIM teaches the history of the Senate and its unique role in the democratic process. Visitors will debate, negotiate, and ultimately vote on legislation in our full-scale representation of the United States Senate Chamber.

Our increasingly challenging times bring complex issues like health care and immigration up for national debate. Your generosity will allow the EMK Institute to present these topics in a thoughtful, non-partisan manner so that our communities can continue to grow, learn, and, ultimately, thrive.
