*Subject:* Confirmation Session 1 and Parent/Sponsor Information

Greetings parents,

Happy Thanksgiving! Just a reminder about Confirmation Session 1 and
additional information on the parent session...

*Wednesday, December 3*

*Session 1 for Candidates, Parents, and Sponsors*

- Pizza and drinks will be served and check-in will be from
6:30pm-6:55pm in the Upper School Cafeteria. Parents will be dismissed to
the church at 6:55 and students will go to assigned classroom.
- The theme is "We are One Body." The candidates will break into
smaller groups and reflect on how the Holy Spirit is working in their lives
as members of the Church. Through a variety of activities, they will
understand the Church as the Body of Christ and how they can share their
gifts and talents in their family, parish, and community.
- Parents and sponsors are invited to join the parish community in a
Taize Service with the Sacrament of the Sick in the Church. We hope that
the sacramental preparation will be rooted in prayer. Following this,
parents will gather in McKenna Hall for more informative session on the
Sacrament of Confirmation, Q&A with Judith Brusseau, and then a discussion
of the Holy Spirit led by Father Bill Ryan, S.J.

The team and I look forward to seeing you next week!

Peace,

Justine
