Hunter/Beau: I am going to work on a concept overview for The Biden Law Group, but here are the wave tops, and wanted to get your initial impressions and thoughts. *Structure:* My view is that we would be wise to affiliate with Grant & Eisenhofer from the start. Stuart has a strong interest in Beau and creating a lasting relationship. Moreover, his established pipeline of plaintiff's work would likely be a strong referral source. Finally, his practice is national in scope and will provide a strong platform for us to develop our practice going forward. In addition, I think we should consider including an additional partner, and my suggestion is that we should speak to Matt Lintner. Matt. was a partner at SNR Denton in California and a partner at Morris James here in Delaware. In addition, he was of counsel at Potter Anderson. He went to Dartmouth undergrad and Stanford Law. He spent 5 years litigating environmental suits for the California AG's office and most recently has headed up Beau's consumer fraud division. He is independently wealthy and would likely not need a significant base salary to start, and is very, very bright. Bottom line, I think he would be a big asset to our firm and would be excited to build a practice with us. Our firm would have three main areas of focus 1) local asbestos litigation referrals; 2) public interest plaintiff suits and 3) government affairs and corporate internal investigations. *Practice Area 1 - Asbestos Litigation * Asbestos litigation will provide "bread and butter" work to establish a consistent stream of revenue for the firm. We would likely need one associates/paralegal to assist with the case load. *Practice Area 2 - Public Interest Plaintiff Suits* The second area could be done on a contingency basis. Delaware does not have a strong local plaintiffs bar and there is a gap in qui tam enforcement at the state level. Acting as a relator law firm, we would search out and develop medicaid fraud case against long term healthcare facilities that are not providing full value for their medicaid dollar. In addition, we can look to act as local counsel for out-of-state plaintiffs firms. Dan Miller (former MFCU Director for Beau) is a partner at Berger Montague and may be a referal source - http://www.bergermontague.com/attorneys/daniel-r-miller. Finally, the State is week on ADA compliance, civil rights enforcement and environmental suits. We could build cases oriented towards filing these gaps in the bar. I think Matt Lintner would be particularly helpful in this area given his background and experience. *Practice Area 3 - Government Consulting and Internal Investigations* This practice area will be built on our experience and strong reputation in financial enforcement and multi-state cases. We would use our collective networks to offer our services to Fortune 500 companies to serve as outside consultants either on retainer or on a specific case to provide internal reviews and recommendations; facilitate discussion with regulatory agencies, and otherwise provide advice and counsel on government relations. Strong contacts for possible referral/collaboration would be Bernie Nash, JB Kelly (Dickstein Shapiro), Nick Gess (Bingham), Divonne Smoyer (Reed Smith), Louie Freeh/Tom Gallagher (Pepper), and Jack Dodds (Morgan Lewis). Potential Clients - AstraZeneca (Steven Mohr), Reybold Group (Jerry Heisler), Corporation Service Company (George Massih), Capital One (Jim Kelly), Bank of America (Rob Habgood), Comcast, BPG (Rob Bucciini), DuPont (Michael Clark), University of Delaware & Johnson & Johnson, etc.. Do you want to set up a time to speak further about this?
