Hunter, I invite you to be with us on December 3rd for a reception to celebrate Jason Grumet's new book, City of Rivals: Restoring the Glorious Mess of American Democracy that Rhoda and I are co-hosting with Mark Walsh and Polly Vail at the Hay-Adams. As was made clear in the mid-term elections, Americans are tired of partisan gridlock and have demanded active cooperation from both sides of the aisle. Jason is the President of the Bipartisan Policy Center and in his book he notes that while we cannot wish away our differences, with real leadership our government can be both partisan and productive. I serve as a Senior Fellow at the BPC and Co-Chair the Commission on Political Reform, and remain a loyal champion of the organization and the work they have underway to bring political and private sector leaders together to bridge the political aisle and forge consensus. It would be great to have you with us on: December 3, 2014 6:00PM - 8:00PM Top of the Hay Hay-Adams 800 16th St NW Washington, DC 20006 Please RSVP to Hannah Basile at hbasile@bipartisanpolicy.org<mailto:hbasile@bipartisanpolicy.org> or call 202-204-2394 with any questions. Regards, Dan Secretary Dan Glickman Co-Chair, Commission on Political Reform Senior Fellow, Bipartisan Policy Center [cid:image002.png@01CFFE85.D747DBF0]
