*Happy December, Class of 2017 families!*

We’ve made it: the first grades of the year are on the books, and we have
a few weeks of school before Winter Break. The calendar of activities is
rich this time of year, with seasonal performances, club activities, and a
switch to winter sports. Keep your eye on the US newsletter for
announcements.


*Casserole Bake*

Calling all volunteers for the Casserole Bake Coordinating Committee! The
coordinating committee needs *7* hearty individuals to coordinate
donations, lead recipes, make labels/instructions, and coordinate drivers.
To volunteer, please contact Robyn at robynalexchef@gmail.com. She would
like to hold a brief kick-off meeting on Monday, December 15, time to be
determined.


This community service project gets the whole class involved in preparing
and donating casseroles to area food banks. The bulk of the coordinating
committee's activities occur in January and February, culminating in the
class-wide casserole bake on February 22.
