We want a better future for the families of Baltimore, and that future begins with
a great education. We believe we can turn around the harsh statistics surrounding
education in Baltimore City.

In 2012, 33% of Baltimore City students failed to graduate from high school within
four years. That's nearly six students every day, or one student every four hours.

As a charter school, we have the ability to create our own liberal arts curriculum
and program for these young men of Baltimore. While we will receive a per pupil
allocation, our extended day and extended year, full athletic program, and our mentor-tutors
in the Collegiate Teaching Fellows program require substantial donor funding.
