MD created 3,900 private sector jobs this month. The unemployment rate was driven down from 6.3% to 6.0%.

Maryland was one of only 13 states to increase education funding per student during the national recession. And Education Week Magazine has ranked Maryland schools #1 in the nation for 5 years in a row.

Maryland enacted the 2013 Infrastructure Investment Act, which supports more than 57,000 jobs building roads, bridges, and transit projects.

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce has ranked Maryland #1 in the nation in innovation and entrepreneurship for three years in a row.
