From Christina - a note to you and an article about her father. - Katie ---------- Forwarded message ---------- From: Christina Snylyk <christina100@clear.net> Date: Fri, Nov 21, 2014 at 4:24 PM Subject: Thank You To: Katie Dodge <kdodge@rosemontseneca.com> Dear Katie, It was very nice to meet you yesterday in person. Thank you not only for being so gracious during my visit to Rosemont Seneca Advisors, but for all your help to me communicating with Hunter. Please be so kind as to forward my thanks below to Hunter for meeting with me, and for his involvement with the M17 oratorio project. I've attached an article about my Dad for him he might enjoy reading. I hope that you have a great Thanksgiving. I hear 70 degrees on Monday - now that's a blessing to be very grateful for!! Sincerely, Christina Dear Hunter, It was such a great pleasure to meet with you yesterday in your beautiful offices. Thank you for being so gracious, and so generous with your time. Thank you also for helping to grow support for the M17 oratorio by presenting the project to President Komorowski. That was a terrific idea! I especially enjoyed our great conversation about Ukraine, and am truly delighted to have your participation in the M17 oratorio project, particularly given our mutual views on the political situation there. It is so vital for Ukraine, as well as my project, to have you as our champion. I've attached an article written posthumously about my Dad for the Rochester review as I know you would have appreciated his dedication to and aspirations for Ukraine. He would have been so honored by your participation on the oratorio committee, and deeply touched by your support of the Ukrainian cause. My Dad saw Ukraine as we do, as a shining star of hope for democratic ideals in a region made bleak by tyrants and goons for so many centuries, and sadly again now. Thank you for joining those of us today who are trying now to make the dream of democracy in Ukraine come true against terrible odds. It is a struggle resonant not just with Ukrainians, but with the rest of the world. I will, over the weekend as we discussed, write up a paragraph for you about what the M17 oratorio signifies for our potential committee members and donors for you to use when you approach them. Please have a wonderful Thanksgiving in Nantucket, and a safe trip there with your family. I will look forward to seeing you next in New York to meet with Richard Einhorn. With warm wishes, Christina -- *Katie Dodge* Executive Assistant/ Office Manager *Rosemont Seneca Partners* *1010 Wisconsin Ave., NW, #705* *Washington, DC 20007* *202-333-1880
