<p>Hello Junior Parents!</p><p>Already it’s March, and we have some big news about upcoming events:</p><p><b><u>Student Panel Presentation for Parents – Monday, March 19 6:00 PM – 8:30 PM</u></b></p><p>Don’t miss this first of its kind Parent Peer Group event! The Upper School Mental Health Awareness Week Team has developed a student-run presentation designed to educate parents about “student perspectives on stress and pressure.” The program will focus on how parents can help to alleviate student stress and will serve as a platform for constructive learning from a variety of perspectives. The student panel will consist of members of the Stress Survey Gathering Committee as well as representatives from grades 9-12. Panelists will draw on data gathered from Upper School students and they will also field parent questions during the student-run portion of the event. Following the panel presentation, parents will participate in small breakout sessions for moderated discussion of the issues addressed. Please join us in the RLS Meeting Room on Monday, March 19<sup>th</sup> from 6-8:30 pm for this wonderful opportunity to hear and understand our students’ perspectives on this very important topic. A light supper will be served from 6:00-6:30 p.m. followed by the program. </p><p><b>VOLUNTEERING NEEDS</b></p><p><b><u>Seeking Volunteers for Wider Circle – Sunday March 11 2:00 PM – 5 PM</u></b></p><p>All members of the SFS community welcome. Bring the whole family (including children 4 and older!) for a fun and rewarding weekend service learning event at A Wider Circle's nearby warehouse!
