The Variety Show is This Saturday -- Don't Miss It!
It looks like it'll be a sell-out again this year, so click here to get your tickets before it's too late!
This gala showcase of talented alumni who have become professional performing artists is always a fun-filled evening of fabulous entertainment. The wide-ranging talent on display will inspire your children, as they see that dreams of a future on the stage, in the recording studio, in the concert hall can come true for SFS graduates. And you'll spend a relaxing evening enjoying the show and the reception with the performers that follows it. To top it off, all proceeds go to student financial aid.
The Ninth Annual Variety Show is Saturday, January 29, 2011, at 8 p.m. in the Kogod Arts Center. SFS student tickets are just $10. Adults are $35 (2 for $60); teachers and young alums ('00-'10) are $25. Purchase an extra ticket and donate it for a teacher! Be a sponsor! Read MoreValentine's Dance: Parent Volunteers Needed

If you enjoy community building and would like to make a contribution to your child's grade, please volunteer as a Grade Representative. Every year Grade Reps organize a limited number of grade-wide activities for students and parents. Grade Reps typically work in coordination with the US Clerks. If you are interested in serving as a Grade Rep or in any other PA leadership position, would like to suggest someone else, or simply need more information, please contact either of the US Nominating Committee members --- Jenny Bryant at jbryant@phrma.org or Leeny Oberg at leeny.oberg@marriott.comCS: 11th Grade Family Service Project, Jan 23rd.
Congratulations to the students and families of the 11th grade for a successful service project last Sunday, January 23. Students served home prepared hot delicious meals, delivered gently used warm clothing and distributed bags of toiletries to those who are homeless, gathered outside the MLK Library in downtown DC. At the end of the project, remaining items were delivered to the Creative Coalition for Non-Violence (CCNV) shelter. The bitterly cold weather served as a reminder for participants that such service projects are necessary and worthy of our time and efforts. This service project was gratefully received and graciously performed. It was truly a rewarding experience for all involved.
A heartfelt thank-you to the 11th Grade Reps for their time, tremendous efforts and skillful management of this event. To all the students and their families who came together to serve our wider community, thank-you for your participation.
