My heart is with the many across the nation who are marching tomorrow against violence and mass shootings to ensure a safer tomorrow for our children and students across the country.

Common sense gun laws are not meant to strip 2nd Amendment rights, but rather to take extra steps to ensure that guns are staying out of the wrong hands. Common sense gun laws push both gun and school safety, ensuring that our children aren’t being put in harm’s way through inaction.

Let’s join together this weekend in remembering that it’s up to us to advocate and fight for common sense gun laws. Please find your local or regional March for Our Lives marches to remember all those that have lost their lives to tragic mass shootings and gun violence.
