I am getting with Tom later today to flush out a few things. I have told him this, so I am not speaking out of school. I am uncomfortable with business deals where a substantial portion of the initial raise is taken out. I assume that any funder will want to see very specific finanicial records on how and where the 650 went.?
I know people do it to get some of their own capital out, but I feel that its best to take a small portion and an "earn out" on the rest which most funders are ok with because it comes from actual net profits.
Under Tom's scenario we would only have 150k left to run the company and I can tell you that he and I spent 30k just for our Liberia trip a year ago..
5 trips abroad and we are out of money unless we hit a law suit early..

We have spent a lot time, and we have raised money and put our own in, but I just don't want to drain the bank account and have nothing left to run the company with.
Tom just got my email ( he is sitting next to me) and agrees..

This is still a very valid project, but needs to be thought through before we take a dime.. maybe a phone call this week or weekend. We can call from here with a calling card.

Looks doable to me. What is return on investment in ball park figures for our Funder/s. In other words what kind of pay day could we expect (net expenses) for completion of Liberia or a contract with Tunisia or Egypt or wherever? What kind of track record can Rmetrics promote/ market to date? What's the lowest hanging fruit? Who are the organizations that we contract with outside of sovereign governments? Should we create a board of advisors?
