I would think you should definitely review the MPAA website. We have a friend who is close with some staff at MPAA who is quietly checking to get the latest info on where things stand (she isn't going to mention your name... She told us that MPAA is really struggling to find the right person; they want someone who can navigate both Labor and the studios and who can actually be a manager of the Association, not just a pretty face. The guy who is currently the acting Chairman/ President really wants the job but wants to live in California and the Board wants the leadership to be in DC. Also he is 65 years old and they want someone younger).
We're talking in the a.m. and we will send you anything we get back from her. We should probably either plan to meet beforehand for a few minutes or at least talk. Our train is supposed to get in to NY at 10:45.
