FYI - This is a buddy of mine who I think I mentioned to you guys in the past. He runs a lab at Caltech doing things way beyond my IQ. The Big Chief was referencing a project called JCAP, which I am part of, and my colleague Nate Lewis is the overall PI of. I suspect the Department of Energy worked hard to get a sound bite into the speech, but it was fun to hear it in the State of the Union. Unfortunately, now we have to get things to work!
