Club Pink Parents - We are planning for Spring lacrosse and expect to begin practicing in mid-March (after 3/13, which is daylight savings time). We intend to practice at Holy Cross again, and the school is asking which night(s) we would prefer. So I am sending this email to ask each of you to let me know if any evening(s) are definitely bad or good for your daughters. I am trying to maximize our team's attendance. We will begin practice at 5:15 or 5:30 and end at 7:00. Please let me know before 5:00 tomorrow if at all possible. If I do not hear from you, I will not be able to accommodate your conflicts. PLEASE MARK THE FOLLOWING DATES IN YOUR CALENDARS: 1) The league Play Day is 3/27 and our first game is on 4/3. Games are every Sunday thereafter, except 4/24, thru 5/22. 2) We intend to play in a tournament at Bullis on 4/9. This tournament replaces the Cherry Blossom tourney which has been cancelled this season. 3) We also intend to play in a Middle School Play Day at Holy Child on 5/7. Times for each of these events have not been set yet, but I will send upon my receipt. Mark, Jackie and I all attended the Level Coaches Certification class last weekend, and so are now prepared to take our team to the next level. We hope our girls come to practice in shape, with fresh stick skills and ready to work hard! Please get back to me on practice days and please mark your calendars with the above critical dates.
