Ivan, I apologize for the delay in getting these answers back to you as I have been traveling. Please see my responses below and feel free to call if you have any other questions. Best, Hunter *What was your working relationship with Maura? * I have known Maura for almost 20 years and I have known her family for over 40 years. While we have never worked directly for the same firm at the same time there have been a number of ways our paths have crossed professionally. My primary professional interaction with Maura was while she was at ONE, an organization I have been involved with and volunteered for for a number of years now. *What are some areas that she excels in? * Maura has fantastic interpersonal skills, has a great ability to connect with people and is a great advocate for any organization she works for. *What are some examples of accomplishments or programs she implemented?* Not having worked directly with Maura I am not familiar with specific programs the implemented. *What are some examples of some difficult situations that she handled well?* Maura and I did have the opportunity to work for a few months with a potential start up technology company that ultimately didn’t launch. I was very impressed with how Maura handled the situation and how well she managed some disappointment amongst some of the stakeholders that the venture didn’t launch. *What are some weaknesses or examples of situations that she could have handled better?* I don’t know of any. *What are some things that her new manager should know to motivate and bring out the best in her performance?* Having never managed Maura I can’t give any insight into specific tools to motivate her. *What is your overall assessment on Maura on fit for this type of role with Special Olympics?* Maura has understood the importance of serving others all of her life. This is most indicative of the jobs she has held in her career from the ONE Foundation to the Clinton Foundation. She has been around high-profile people her whole life and understands what is required to work directly with celebrities and talent. I can not think of a more perfect match between a job and an applicant and recommend Maura highly and without reservation.
