Sasha Bruce Youthwork—one of the largest and most experienced provrs of services to youth in Washington, D.C.—helps young peopl= find safe homes, achieve and maintain good physical and mental health, create and strengthen supportive and stable families, and explore op=ortunities in education and careers. Sasha Bruce Youthwork has also rece=tly joined an effort of several D.C agencies to better coordinate efforts=toward ending youth homelessness. During the visit, Senator Collins an= Secretary Castro will tour the facility, meet with former and current=homeless youth and hear their stories, and speak with the team of profe=sionals at Sasha Bruce who are fighting the homelessness crisis from the=front lines. This May, under Chairman Collins’ leadership, the Senate passe= the bipartisan appropriations bill that provides essential funding for t=e Department of Housing and Urban Development by a vote of 89 to 8. This=overwhelmingly bipartisan bill included $2.3 billion for Homeless Assista Grants and $40 million for grants targeted to providing comprehensive=and coordinated solutions to youth homelessness. ### ======================= Unsubscribe hbiden@rosemontseneca.com from this list: http://sashabruce.us9.list-manage.com/unsubscribe?udf2b96c33ecb15a905=e 1d7&id12f081a5&e3338f806&c3ae61d50
