Eric; No problem I am assisting OAS the best I can but I am not very optimistic about the outcome. We have been in permanent contact and we will continue to monitor. I am perfectly aware of the opportunity that the President is thinking about and once we meet with Camac and better understand their objectives I can determine if it fits. I also have a couple of more opportunities. Sorry they are difficult. I think we need to re-focus them on things like Port projects where we can be helpful and get them away from these more complex projects where they are complicating matters for themselves. We will work on re-focusing them next week. If they are too demanding of your time, please let us know and we can take care of that. I'll get back to you on Monday about who else CAMAC might like to see. When they met with President Pastrana he mentioned a particular person that he knew who was interested in selling an interest in an oil and gas field. I know they would like to learn more about that on a trip down to Colombia. Not sure if you know the project that the President was referring to. Otherwise, please feel free to suggest others that you think might be valuable for them to meet. Thanks as always. Have a good weekend. Best, Eric Eric D. The injunction is a tactic to gain time but there is still no guarantee that they will not be disqualified. We are trying to see if it is posible to convince the client. They are very difficult !! In the event that we are able to qualify then we have a process in which the offers will be analyzed and price is not the only aspect. This is a complex proposal that has many aspects that have to be carefully analyzed. Camac has informed me and copied me in their letter submitting the registration request. I will be on top of this. I beleive we should be registered in the next 3 weeks if all documents are in order so a visit in April would be appropriate. Please let me know who they wish to see besides Ecopetrol Best Harry -----Original Message----- From: Eric Schwerin <eschwerin@rosemontseneca.com> To: Harry Beda Malca <hbemco@aol.com> Cc: Hunter Biden <hbiden@rosemontseneca.com> Sent: Thu, Mar 22, 2012 10:53 am Subject: Updates Harry- Just touching base. 1) OAS tells us that they got an injunction and were able to move forward in the process for now and that I believe they had the second lowest bid. I read one article in the paper that mentioned the Acciona/OAS consortium as one of the four going forward. If you have any more info on this let us know when you get a chance. 2) CAMAC tells me that they submitted their paperwork for the license with EcoPetrol last Friday and Alex Loftus on CAMAC said that he was going to email you as well so that you can follow up with them as necessary. CAMAC is interested in scheduling a time for Hunter and Kase Lawal (CAMAC's Chairman) to come down to Colombia in April (assuming their license is approved by then) to begin meeting with EcoPetrol and others. We defer to you on when in April would be a good time to do that or if that will be too soon given the licensing process. Thanks, Eric Eric D.
