Hello Junior Parents,</p>

I am sure your home is buzzing with activity as students gear up for exams. We hope your sons/daughters are getting some good rest and are taking care of themselves during this busy time of year.</p>
<p>
The summer months can be a quiet time in the college office but this year we are thrilled to be preparing for the arrival of Patrick Gallagher as the new Director and he is excited to enter our community on July 1. All students who are currently assigned to me will be working directly with Patrick. For all others, he will be an invaluable resource and support for you and you are also welcome to connect with him should you need any guidance or assistance.</p>
<p>
I invite you to reach out to Jackie Morillas (morillasj@sidwell.edu), the college counseling assistant, to schedule a time to meet with Patrick and especially encourage my juniors and junior parents to make a summer appointment at your convenience to connect and meet him. </p>
<p>
On a final note, you and your son/daughter can expect to receive a June letter (with reminders and useful information) as well as a college chart (a customized arrangement of your child's college list identifying selectivity so you have a good sense of reaches, possibles, likely schools etc.) later this month. </p>

We hope these summer months are a restful and relaxing time for you and your family.</p>
