1 in 3residents in Washington, D.C. is at risk of hunger. Many are senior citizens living on fixed incomes. They face gut-wrenching choices, such as eating or buying medicine they need to stay healthy.
If you agree that one hungry person is one too many, please give now, to help us feed the hungry <https://www.catholiccharitiesdc.org/Hunger3?srctid=1&erid=1575035&trid=7dce3db1-e928-4711-bce6-0144ff77bfe5> in the District and surrounding Maryland counties.
Iwas shocked to learn that more than 15,000 seniors, approximately 15% of the senior population in D.C., are living in poverty and thousands more struggle to cover housing costs, medical care and pay for food. Many are members of "the greatest generation" who worked hard to make America what it is today. They deserve to live in comfort, and with dignity ---and that's why your gift today is so very important! <https://www.catholiccharitiesdc.org/Hunger3?srctid=1&erid=1575035&trid=7dce3db1-e928-4711-bce6-0144ff77bfe5>
You'll support our many food programs <https://www.catholiccharitiesdc.org/Hunger3?srctid=1&erid=1575035&trid=7dce3db1-e928-4711-bce6-0144ff77bfe5> such as our St. Maria's Meal Van, SHARE Food Network, Southern Maryland Food Bank and many other programs and ministries. These programs are vital for our seniors.
Please be as generous as you can! <https://www.catholiccharitiesdc.org/Hunger3?srctid=1&erid=1575035&trid=7dce3db1-e928-4711-bce6-0144ff77bfe5> Thank you.
