Hunter, It was 100 years ago, in 1916, that Woodrow Wilson first proposed setting aside a Sunday to recognize fathers. Congress resisted the bill at the time for fear that the day would become overly commercialized and disingenuous. I encourage you to make this day a heartfelt celebration of fathers. This weekend, I am going to take some extra time to say thank you to my dad, Tom Moulton. Although he did important work, my dad made sure my mom, brother, sister and I knew that the most important job he will ever have is as our dad. We are fortunate to have such an incredible role model who has shaped us into the people we are today. Happy Father's Day to my dad, and to all the dads out there.
